Act and recomendatione Laird of Bruxes tenents accompts
The Lords of his majesties privie Councell haveing considered the report of a comittie of ther own number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting by his majesties forces to the countrie bearing that the comittie haveing considered the accompts given in to them as resting be his majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the persons therin named tenents to the Laird of Brux with the instructiones and verificationes therof they find That ther were two or thrie of the articles of the said accompt Stated at too high prices And therfore they have modified and restricted the samen And finds the haill articles of the said accompt sufficiently verified and proven be the oathes and depositiones of the saids tenents taken befor two of the comissioners of supply within the shyre of Aberdeen Conform to the comissioners report subsribed be them write upon the end of the said accompt Which accompt and report were both produced to and considered by the said comittie And finds that conforme to the said accompt and instructiones ther is resting be his Majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the saids Laird of Brux his tenents the Soumes following Viz be the Deceast Earle of Marr his regiment of foot The Soume of Four hundereth and threttein punds six shilling eight pennies Scotts Item be the deceast Lord Angus his regiment of foot Twa Hundereth fourscore seventyne punds ten shilling Scotts Item by The deceast Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragounes Thrie hundereth and two punds sixtein shilling eight pounds Item be The Earle of Annandale his troupe of horse Fourtie nyn punds ten Shilling Item by The Lord Belhaven his troupe of horse fourtein pund Scotts Item be The Lord Rollo his troupe of horse fourtein pund Scotts Item be The Master of Polwarth his troupe of horse seven pund Scots Extending the haill soumes forsaids resting be his Majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the Soume of Ane Thousand Ane Hundereth and twelve punds thrie Shilling four pennies Scotts to The Laird of Brux his tenents And finds that the haill articles wherof this Last soume as made up were all furnished preceeding the sixth day of February Jaj vic nyntie one yeirs And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth session of this current parliament intituled act for polemoney and proclamationes of Counsell relative therto And Therfor It is ther opinion that the forsaid Soume of Ane Thousand Ane Hundereth and twentie punds thrie Shilling four pennies is to be payed to the said Laird of Brux his tenents out of the pole money And that they are to be recomended to the Comissioners of parliament appointed anent the pole money for payment of the Same accordingly As the said report bears The said Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing considered the above report They heirby approve therof And recomends to the comissioners of parliament appointed anent the pole money imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie to cause make payment to the said Laird of Brux his tenents of the said Soume of Ane Thousand Ane Hundereth and twelve punds two Shillings four pennies Scotts money And that out of the said polemoney
