Recomendation anent accomptts In favors of Forbes of Auchintoull
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill haveing Considered the report of a Comittie of ther oun number appointed for revising the accompts resting by his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing that the Comittie having Considered the two recepts and oblidgments given in to them both granted be Captain Nathaneall Stafney Comander of the Dragoons in Killdrumy Castle in my Lord Cardross regiment the one therof to Arthur Forbes of Auchintoull for the soume of fyve hundreth fiftie Eight merks twelue shilling scots and that for meall malt and a horss bought by him from the said Arthur Forbes and Which he oblidges him to pay to the said Arthur betwixt and Lambes then nixt or how soon pay comes up to the troop under his Comand dated the thretein day of June Jaj vjc nyntie years and the other therof to Mr Patrick Andersone of Miltoune for the soume sixtie thrie merks six shilling Eight penies scots for most sold be the said Mr Patrick for the use of the forsaid Garison of the same date and quhich is assignd to the said Arthur Forbes of Auchintoull to be uplifted be him Extending both the saids soumes to the soume of six hundreth twentie two merks five shillings four penies scots The Committie Finds that the saids two formes extending as said is were furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years and that they are in the termes of the nynth act fourth session of this Curent parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and also in the termes of the proclamationes of Councill relative therto Therfore It is the Commities opinion that the said soume of six hundred twentie two merks five shilling four penies scots Is to be payed out of the said polemoney And that the said Arthur Forbes Is to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the said report bears The saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve therof except as to the pryce of the above horss for quhich they ordaine two Hundred merks to be deduced from the above totall soume and Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament2 appointed anent the polemoney to Cause payment be made to the above Arthur Forbes of the remander of the said totall soume Extending the said remainder to Four twentie two merks five shilling four penies scots and that out of the said polemoney.
