Recomendation anent accompts In favor of The shyre of Aberdeen
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Having Considered the report of a Committie of their oun number appointed for revising the accomptts resting be his Majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the accompts given in as resting be his majesties forces to the Inhabitants within the shire of Aberdeen divided in Presbytries in maner after sett doune with the instructiones and verificationes of the saids accompts They Find that ther are severall articles of the saids accompts Which are not in the termes of the act of parliament anent the polemoney and proclamationes of Councill relative therto And Therfore they have refused and rejected all these articles, And Finds that ther are severall articles stated upon the forces, Which were not upon scots pay as to which the Committie makes no other report But that the parties does not at present insist for them In Respect they will not be allowed out of the polemoney, and Finds that besides the soumes allowed to the inhabitants of the said shyre by ane former act of privy Councill dated in march Jaj vjc nyntie two years Ther is yet resting to the saids inhabitants according as they are divyded in presbytries be his Majesties forces Which were upon scots pay The soumes following Viz to the inhabitants of the presbytries of Ellon be the deceast Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragoons the soume of two hundreth and twentie six punds ten shilling scots and by the Viscount of Kenmuir his regiment of foot the soume of Twentie four punds scots Extending the saids two soumes resting to the inhabitants of the said presbytrie of Ellon to the soume of Two hundred and fiftie punds ten shilling scots Item to the inhabitants within the presbytrie of Aberdeen the soumes following by the inhabitants within the shyre of Aberdeen as they are stated in Presbytries in maner abovewritten to the soume of seventein Thousand one hundreth Eightie Eight punds one shilling scots, And the Comittie Finds that the haill articles quherof this Last Soume is made up wer all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years and that they are all in the termes of the Nynth act Fourth sessione of this Current parliament Intitulled act for pole money and of the proclamationes of Councill relative therto And Therfore It is the Comitties oppinion that the said Soume of Seventein Thousand ane hundreth Eighty eight pund one shilling scots is to be payed out of the said polemoney and that the saids inhabitants of the shyre of Aberdeen as they are stated in Presbytries abovementioned are to be recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly As the said report bears The saids Lords of his Majesties privy Councill6 Doe heirby approve of the said Report and Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney To Cause pay to the saids inhabitants the above soume of seventein thousand one hundreth and Eighty Eight punds one shilling scots as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay and that out of the said polemoney.
