Act Duke of Gordons Liberatione

The Lords of his Majesties Privy Councill Have continowed and Hereby Continows the Duke of Gordone his Confynement within the Toune of Edinburgh and four myles about the same from the first day of January Jaj vjc nynty and sex To the first day of Februarie the said year In respect the said Duke hes given bond and found the Earle of Forfar and Adam Gordon of Dalfolly, who were Cautioners in his former bond to be Cautioners in the new bond That the Duke shall remaine confyned within the Toune of Edinburgh and four myles about the same and shall not goe without the bounds of his confynement and that he shall reenter his persone prisoner within the Castle of Edinburgh upon the said first day of February Jaj vjc nynty and sex and in the mean tyme That He shall live peaceablie under and with all submissione to the present Government of his majestie King William And that He shall not act Consult or Contryve anything in prejudice thereof nor shall not converse nor Correspond with any Rebells And that He shall appear before the said Lords of privie Councill when so ever he shall be called for under the penalty of Two thousand pound sterline in case He shall transgress in any part of the premisses
