Recomendation anent accompts In favors of The Tenents of the barony of Inness

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Committie of ther oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie haveing Considered the accompts given in to them as resting be his majesties forces to the tenents of the baronie of Innes and Laird of Innes with the instructions and verificationes therof They Find that ther are some of the articles of the saids accompts which are not in the termes of the act of parliament anent the polemoney, And proclamationes of Councill relative therto And Therfore they have rejected and refused these articles, and Finds that besides the articles refused and rejected as said is, Ther is still resting by his majesties forces upon scots pay Which They Find suficiently instructed be recepts under the hands of the officers or Souldiers to whom the same was furnished all produced to and Considered be the Comittie The soumes following Viz by Major Stewart his troop of horss the soume of ane hundreth and twelue punds Eight shilling six pennies scots Item by Coll Richard Cuninghame his regiment of foot The soume of Threttie five punds fourtein shilling Eight penies scots Item by Sir William Hope of Kirklistoune his troop of horss the soume of Fourscore nyntein punds nyne shilling scots money forsaid Extending the haill soumes forsaids resting be his Majesties saids forces upon scots pay to the soume of Two hundreth fourty seven punds twelue shilling two penies scots And Find that the haill articles quherof the Last Soume is made up were all furnished to the saids tenents of the barony of Innes preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years and that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth session of this Current parliament intituled act for polemoney and proclamations of Councill relative therto And Therfore Its the Committies opinion that the said soume of Two hundreth fourtie seven punds twelue shilling two penies scots Is to be payed to the saids inhabitants of the barrony of Innes and Land of Innes out of the present polemoney and that they ask to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the said report bears The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve of the above report And Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney To Cause pay to the said Laird of Innes and his tennents of the said barrony the above soume of Two hundreth fourty seven punds twelue shilling two pennies scots as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay and that out of the said polemoney.
