Recomendation anent accomptts In favors of The Inhabitants of Kinghorne

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Having Considered the report of a Committie of their oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the accompts given in to them as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to the inhabitants and verificationes therof They Find the said accompt and haill articles therof suficiently instructed be acknowledgments recepts or obleidgments subscryved be the officers Captaines Livetenants or Ensignes of the Companies following in the Lord Blantyre his regiment of foot Excepting ane article of the Lord Forresters Company, Which to the Committie Finds suficiently instructed be ane attestatione under the hand of Captaine John Montgomry appointed by the Earle of Leven to see the accompts due by the Lord Fresters Company to the saids inhabitants of Kinghorne taken in and Cleared, and two Small articles of2 Ten3 punds Scots betwixt them Which They Find suficiently instructed be the Copies of the recepts attested be two witnesses before four witnesses And Finds that ther is resting be the said Lord Blantyre his regiment and Companies therof afternamed to the saids inhabitants the soumes following Viz Imprimis be Captain John Mongromries Company in the said Regiment the soume of ane hundreth fiftie six punds Eight shilling ten penies scots money and be Captaine Charles Swintoune his Company in the said regiment the Soume of ane hundreth twentie punds twelue shilling Eight pennies scots money forsaid Item be the Lord Forester his Company in the said regiment the soume of ane hundreth4 and six5 punds scots money forsaid Extending the haill Soumes due be the saids thrie Companies to the said inhabitants to the Soume of Thrie hundreth Eighty four punds one shilling six penies scots And Finds that the haill articles of this totall soume as made up wer all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one and that they are all in the termes of the nynth act Fourth sessione of this Current parliament Entitulled act for polemoney and of the proclamatione of Councill of the date the Last of Jully Jaj vjc nyntie four years relative therto And Therfore It is their oppinion that the said soume of Thrie hundreth Eightie four punds one shilling six penies scots money Is to be payed to the saids inhabitants of Kinghorne out of the present polemoney, And that they are to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the Polemoney To Cause pay to the saids inhabitants the above soume of Thrie hundreth Eightie four pund one shilling six penies Scots money as resting be his Majesties forces upon scots pay to them and that out of the said polemoney.
