Proclamation

Proclamatione adjourneing the parliament

The proclamatione underwryten being read approven and signed was ordered to be recorded quherof the tenor followeth Proclamatione adjourneing the parliament till the tuenty first day of March next William by the Grace of God King of Great Brittain France and Ireland defender of the faith To our Lyone King at Arms, his brethren Heraulds Macers of our privy Councill Pursevants Messingers at armes our shirriffs in that part conjunctly and severally speciallie constitut Greeting Forasmuch as by our proclamatione of the date the fourth day of December last with advyce of the Lords of our privy Councill did adjourn the Currant parliament of this our ancient Kingdome untill the fyfteen day of Februarie next to come now instant. And our affairs not requyreing a meeting therof at that tyme we have thought fitt That the adjournment thereof shall be continued from the said day, to the tuentie first day of march next to come Therfore we with advyce of the Lords of our privy Councill Doe hereby adjourne our said Current parliament untill the said tuenty first day of march next ensueing the date hereof. Requyreing all the members of our said parliament to attend that day in the usuall way and under the Certifications contained in the severall Acts of Parliament made therannent Our will is herefore and we Charge you strictly and Command That incontinent these our Letters seen ye pass to the marcat Cross of Edinburgh and to the marcat Crosses of the Remanent head burghs of the severall shyres of this our ancient Kingdome, and there by open proclamatione make intimation That our said parliament of this Kingdome is adjourned till the said tuenty first day of march next to come and ordaines these presents to be printed Given under our Signet At Edinburgh the tuelth day of February and of our Reign the sexth year Jaj vjc nynty and sex years sic subscribitur Annandale p Morton Cassillis Forfar Kintore Breadalbane Carmichaell Murray J Stueart F Montgomrie
