Recomendation anent acomptts In favors of The Inhabitants of North Berwick

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Comittie of their oun number appoynted for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the acompts given into them as resting be the souldiers of the Garisone in the Bass with the instructiones and verificationes therof To the inhabitants within the toune of North Berwick They Find the haill articles of the saids accompts suficiently verified and proven be the oathes and depositiones of the saids Inhabitants taken before the Commissioners of supply within the shyre of Haddingtoune Conforme to the saids accompts and instructions therof, Ther is resting to the souldiers in the forsaid Garisone of the Bass to the inhabitants of the said toune of North Berwick the soume of Thrie hundreth Twentie seven punds Threttein shilling ten pennies scots money, and Finds that the saids accompts were all furnished preceeding the first day of Febraury Jaj vjc nyntie one years, and they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth sessione of this Current parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and of the proclamatione of Councill of the date the Last day of Jully Jaj vjc nyntie four years relative therto And Therfore it is their oppinion that the said soume of Thrie hundreth Twentie seven punds Threttein shilling ten pennies scots Is to be payed to the saids inhabitants of the toune of Northberwick out of the present polemoney and that the inhabitants are to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the said report And Recomends to the Commissioners of Parliament appointed anent the polemoney To Cause pay to the saids inhabitants the said soume of thrie hundreth Twentie seven punds thretein shilling ten penies scots money as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to them, and that out of the said polemoney.
