Recomendation anent accompts In favors of Mr Robert Keith of Lintush
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Committie of their oun number appointed for reviseing the accomptts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the accompts given in to them as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to Mr Robert Keith of Lintush with the instructiones and verifications therof They find that ther are severall articles in the said accomt Which are not in the termes of the act of parliament anent polemoney and proclamations of Councill relative therto And Therfore they have refused and rejected these articles and Finds it suficiently verified and proven be the oath and depositione of the said Mr Robert Keith and be the oathes and depositiones of diverse sundrie famous witnesses taken before the Commissioners of Supply within the shyre of Aberdein Conforme to the saids depositiones and Commissioners report subscribed by them and produced to and Concidered be the said Committie That besides the articles refused and rejected as said is Ther is still resting be a detatchment of his majesties forces upon scots pay under the Comand of Collonell Richard Cuninghame and Coll […] Buchan the Soume of ane Thousand ane Hundred and seven punds threttein shilling four pennies scots to the said Mr Robert Keith of Lentush and Finds that all the articles quherof this soume is made up were all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years, and that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth session of this Current parliament (and proclamations of Councill relative therto) Entituled act for polemoney, And Therfore Its the Committies opinion That the said soume of ane Thousand one hundreth and seven punds thretein shilling four pennies scots Is to be payed to the said Mr Robert Keith Out of the pole money, And that he is to be recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaurie for payment of the same accordingly as the said report bears The saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve therof And Recommends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney To Cause make payment to the said Mr Robert Keith of the soume of Ane Thousand ane hundreth and seven punds thretein shilling four pennies scots as resting be his Majesties forces upon scots pay to him and that Out of the said polemoney.
