Act and Recomendatione anent Compts resting to Robert Arnot of Easterind
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Committie of thir oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey, wherof the tenor followes The Committie haveing Considered the accompts given in to them as resting be ther majesties forces upon scots pay to Robert Arnot of Easterind with the instruction and verificationes therof They find the haill articles of the said accompt suficiently verified and proven by recepts under the hands of the officers and souldiers to whom the same was furnished produced to and Considered be the said Committie, And Finds that Conforme to the saids accompts and instructiones forsaids Ther is resting be ther majesties forces2 upon scots pay to the said Robert Arnot of Easterind The soumes following viz by my Lord Cardross regiment of Dragoons the soume of Threttie punds scots money Item by the Lord Newbotle his Troope of horss the soume of ten punds scots Item by the Laird of Pollock his troop of horss the soume of two punds thrie shilling two penies money forsaid Item by the Master of Polwarth his troop of horss the soume of Four pund six shilling Eight penies money forsaid Extending the said haill soumes due by the forces abovenamed to the soume of fourty six punds nyne shilling ten penies money forsaid And the Committie Finds that the haill articles quherof the said soume is made up were furnished before the first day of February Jaj vjc and nyntie one years, And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth sessione of this Current parliament Intituled act for pole money and the proclamatione of Councill of the date the last day of Jully Jaj vjc nyntie four years relative therto and the Committie are of opinion the said soume of Fourtie six punds nyne shilling ten penies scots is to be payed to the said Robert Arnot out of the said polemoney appointed by the said act of parliament and that he is to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the said report in itself bears The saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve therof And Recomends to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury to Cause payment be made out of the present polemoney to the said Robert of the above soume of Fourtie six punds nyne shilling ten penies scots.
