Recomendation anent accompts In favors of The Inhabitants of Kilsyth

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Comittie of ther oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the accompts given in to them as resting by his majesties forces to the persones therin named within the lands and barony of Kilsyth and toune therof with the instructions and verificationes of the same They Find that ther are a great part of the saids accompts resting be the forces which are not upon scots pay as to quhich the ingivers doe not insist for payment at this time In Respect the same will not be allowed out of the polemoney And Therfore the Committie have not medled with any of these articles And Finds that ther is one of the articles of the saids accompts resting by the forces upon scots pay which is not in the termes of the act of parliament for polemoney and proclamationes of Councill relative therto, And Therfore they have refused and rejected the said article And Finds that the haill other articles of the saids accompts resting by the forces upon scots pay are suficiently verified and proven be the Oathes and depositiones of the persones furnishers therof taken before the Commissioners of supply within the shyre of Stirling Conforme to the Commissioners reports Which with the accompts was produced to and Considered be the said Comittie and Finds that Conforme to the saids accompts and instructiones therof Ther is resting by his majesties forces upon scots pay to the saids persones within the lands and barrony of Kilsyth and toune therof the soumes following Viz be the Earle of Argyll his regiment of foot the soume of ane hundreth thrie score thrie punds two shillings sots Item by the Lord Blantyre his regiment of foot the sum of fiftie two penies thrie shilling Eight penies scots Item by the Earle of Glencairne his regiment of foot the Soume of thrie score punds nyne shillings too penies scots Item by the Viscount of Kenmuir his regiment of foot ten punds Scots Item by the deceast Earle of Mar his regiment of foot thrie punds six shilling scots Item by the Eglingtone his troop of horss the soume of thretie one punds seventein shilling scots Item be the Lord Beilhaven his troop of horss thrie pund seventein shilling scots Item by the Lord Ross his troop of horss two punds Eight shilling scots Item by the deceast Lord Angus his regiment of foot the soume of six punds scots Extending the haill soumes forsaids to the soume of Thrie hundreth thretie one punds too shilling ten pences scots And Finds that the haill articles quherof this last soume is made up were all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one and that they are all in the termes the nynth act fourth session of this Current parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and of the proclamations of Councill relative therto And Therfore It is the Commitees opinion That the said soume of thrie hundreth thretien punds two shilling ten penies scots Is to be payed out of the said polemoney And that the persones forsaids named in the saids accompts within the lands and barony of Kilsyth and toune therof are to be recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the said report bears The Lords of the majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve therof the said report and Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament anent the polemoney To Cause pay to the saids persones the sum of Thrie hundred thretie one punds too shillings ten penies scots in the said report as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to them and that out of the said polemoney.
