Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of ther majesties privy Cowncell be Agnes Simpsone relict of the deceast Mr Thomas Forrester minister at Kincairden Showing that the petitioner being a poor wedow left with the burden of Six fatherles childrein by the death of the said master Thomas Forrester her husband who sometyme befor his decease was verie abruptly thrust from the exercise of his minister for refuseing of the test wher throwgh the petitioner is redacted to such miserable circumstances as will requyre the pitie of any christean And being informed that the stipend of the said paroch of Kincarden is yet resting year Jaj vic nyntie four and not as yet disposed upon which is fallen in the hands of the presbetrie in respect of the Earle of Pearth as patron his being popish They by ther act and recomendatione direct to the saids Lords prodwced with the said petitione Efter seriows tryall of what is above represented have thought good to allow The petitioner the benefite of uplifting therof provideing the saids Lords authorized the Samen by ane act of Counsell The Lords of his Majesties privie Counsell haveing considered this petition given in to them by the above Agnes Simpsone with the act and recomendatione of the Synod of Pearth mentioned therin and produced therwith They heirby grant the Stipend of Kincarden for haill cropt and yeir of God Jaj vic nyntie four and ordaines her to be readiely ansuered obeyed and payed by the heretors Liferenters wodsetters titulars tacksemen of teinds tenents possessors and at others lyable in payment of the said yeirs Stipend and ordaines Letters of Horning wnder the Signet of Counsell to be direct at the instance of the said petitioner Against the heretors and others formerly Lyable in payment of the said yeirs Stipend upon productione of a decreit of Localitie And in caice ther be non Ordaines the heretors and others forsaid to make payment of ther respective proportions therof according as they shall be decerned by the Judge ordinarie.
