Letter for adjourneing the parliament

The following Letter from his Majestie to the privie Councill was read and ordered to be recorded in the books of privy Councill whereof the tenor followeth sic suprascribitur William Rex Right trusty and Right wel beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and intirely beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and right well beloved Cousins and Councillors Right trusty and welbeloved Cousins and Councillors Right trusty and welbeloved Councillors and trusty and well beloved Councillors We greet you well whereas the present Posture of our affairs does not requyre That our parliament of this our ancient Kingdome should meet upon the seventh day of November next to which it was adjourned we doe therfore authorize and requyre you to adjourne our said Parliament untill the tuenty day of march next ensueing and to give orders That all the members thereof doe attend that day in the usuall way and upon the accustomed certifications for doeing whereof this shall be your warrand and so we bid you heartily farewell Given at our Court at Althorp the tuentie sexth day of October Jaj vjc nynty and fyve years and of our Reigne the seventh year By his Majesties Command sic subscribitur J Johnstoune
