Act changeing the sentence of death against Andersone and Lawsone to Banishment

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill Doe Hereby alter the sentance pronounced by the Lords Commissioners of Justiciary against Thomas Andersone and John Lawsone two false Coyners to banishment in the tearms following And Declairs them free of the said sentance of death and discharges the same to be put in executione against them except in the Case following And the said Lords doe Hereby banish the said two persons furth of his majesties Dominions and discharges them to returne within the same under the paine of death The said two persones first before their comeing from prisone inacting themselves in the books of privie Councill that they shall depairt furth of his majesties Dominions with the present recruits goeing for Flanders and that they shall never returne within the same under the paine of haveing the foresaid sentance of death alreadie pronounced immediatlie and without any delay put to executione against them and Recomends to Sir James Stueart his Majesties Advocat to see the said persons shipped aboard for Flanders after they have inacted themselves in maner foresaid and that the said Thomas Andersone be delyvered to Captaine Scott to whom […] Scarlote should have been delyvered. sic subscribitur Annandale Southerland Cassillis Leven J Murray Raith Carmichaells Polwarth Lodovick Grant.
