Order

Ordor to Shiriffs of Lithgow and Bathgate to the quartering of the Troop of Guards

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill doe Hereby Requyre the shirriffs principalls of the shirrifdomes of Linlithgow and Bathgate and their Deputs with any two of the Commissioners of supply of the said shyre to see that his majesties troope of Guards be sufficiently furnished for themselves and their horses when they come to be quartered within their bounds upon ordors direct from his Grace the Duke of Queensberry Commander in Cheiff for the tyme of his majesties forces within this Kingdome and to take Care that as they shall be sufficiently quartered so their quarters may be duely satisfied and payed
