Commissione for additionall Comissioners within the shyre of Fyfe

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill Considering That by the sexth act of the second sessione of his majesties Currant parliament of his majesties ancient Kingdome of Scotland There are Commissioners appoynted in each shyre of this Kingdome for proportionating the supply granted by the said act to his majestie and for seeing and ordering the uplifting of the samine furth of the respective Shyres whereof they are appoynted Commissioners and that by the said Act it is remitted to the Lords of his majesties privy Councill To nominat Comissioners upon the death or not acceptance of any of the persones mentioned in the said act And the said Lords being informed That severalls of the persons nominat in the said act to be Commissioners in the said Shyre of Fyfe are either deceased since the said act or have not qualified themselves for the2 Exercise of their said offices and trust of Commissioners foresaid By swearing and signeing the oath of alleadgeance to his majestie and signeing the assurance in the tearms of the acts of parliament and Councill Therfore the said Lords of privy Councill doe Hereby nominat and appoynt the persones following viz The Lord Lindsay the Laird of Menstrie The Lairds of Kirktoune elder and younger Leuchart younger Hope of Rankeillour younger The Laird of Kinglassie Bayne of Logie Balbirnie younger John Balfour of Cullothie Balbrydes younger Lasodie younger Lassodie elder Wardlaw of Luscar Oliphant of Over Kinnedder Colvill of Hilsyde Dalgliesh of Tulliegask Dundass of Garwockwood Kirkforthar Whyte of Conland Durrie of Lethem Laird of Pitteuchar Laird of Kilbachmont Laird of Gospertly Laird of Kimingment Master Mongo Carnagie of Corbie John Stobie of Luscar David Douglass of Gellees William Halay of Netherkenedder William Wallwood of Touch James Balfour of Baith Robert Douglass of Strathendzie James Law of Bruntoune Alexander Collvill of Blair and3 Enstrather of Newwark to be Commissioners of supply within the shyre of Fyfe in case of the persones deceased or not accepting as said is And that for the effect above and in the said act and subsequent acts of parliament particularly mentioned and Giv’s and Grants to the persons Hereby nominat Commissioners as said is (4so soon as they shall be qualified by swearing and signeing the oath of alleadgeance and signing the assureance to his majestie King William in the tearms of the act of parliament The same power priviledge and Commissione which by the said act of parliament is granted granted5 to the persons therein named to be exercised als fully and freely in all respects as if they had been named in the said act of parliament and as any other Commissioner of supply in any other shyre within this Kingdome does or may Lawfully doe and the said Lords doe Hereby Authorize the persone who shall be Conveener of the Commissioners of supply in the said shyre for the tyme or either of them to administer the oath of alleadgeance to the said Commissioners Hereby nominat as said is and to see them swear and subscryve the same and signe the assurance appoynted by the act of parliament and that at the first dyet of the Commissioners meeting after thir presents shall come to their Hands And appoynts the said Commissioners to report the said alleadgeance so sworen and assurance so signed to the Clerks of his majesties privy Councill and that within the space of a moneth next after their meeting and administrating the said oath and assurance sic subscribitur Twerddale Cancel Southerland Forfar Yester James Stueart Adam Cockburne W Anstruther Archibald Murray Robert Cheisley
