Recomendation anent acomptts In favors of The Lairds of Migstrath Braelyne and Balnacraig and tennents
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill haveing Considered the report of a Committie of ther oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting by his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the accompts given in as resting by his majesties forces upon scots pay to Francis Garden of Migstrath and his tennents in the parish of Birse William Davidson of Balnacraig and his tenents in the paroch of Aboyne and Birss and John Garden of Braelyne and his tenents in the parish of Glentaner all within the shyre of Aberdein with the instructiones and verifications therof They Find the haill articls of the saids accompts suficiently verified and proven be the oathes and depositiones of the persones forsaids and their tenents taken before the Commissioners of supply within the shyre of Aberdein and that the same are no part of the accompts given in for the heritors and inhabitants within the shyre of Aberdein in Generall Conform to the report of the saids Commissioners subscryved be them which accomptts and reports were all produced to and Considered be the said Committie, And the Committie Finds that Conform to the saids accomptts and instructiones therof ther is resting by his majesties forces upon scots pay to the saids Lairds of Migstrath Balnacraig and Bralyne and ther tennents the soumes following Viz be the deceast Lord Cardros his regiment of Dragoons the soume of Eight hundreth Fourtie thrie punds twelue shilling two penies scots Item by Coll John Buchan his regiment the soume of Four hundreth and thriescore Eleven punds scots Item by the Master of Forbes his troop of horss the soume of thrie Hundreth and Fourtie punds six shillings two penies scots Item by the Viscount of Kenmuir his regiment of foott the soume of Thriescore six punds six shilling Eight penies scots Extending the saids Soumes to the soume of one Thousand seven hundreth and twenty one pund five shilling scots And the Committie Finds that the haill articles quherof this Last Soume Is made up were all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years and that they are all in the nynth act fourth session of this Curent parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and the proclamationes of Councill relative therto And Therfore Its the Committies opinion That the said soume of one Thousand Seven hundreth twenty one punds five shilling scots Is to be payd out of the said polemoney and that the saids Lairds and ther tenents are to be recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaurie for payment of the same accordingly as the said report bears The saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill doe hereby approve therof and Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament anent the polemoney To Cause make payment to the saids Francis Garden and his tenents William Davidson and his tenents and John Garden and his tenents of the said totall soume of one Thousand seven hundreth twentie one punds five shilling scots as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay and that out of the said polemoney.
