Recomendatione Alexander Stueart to the Thesaurie

Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of his majesties privy Councill by Alexander Stueart Brother German to the Laird of Ballachane Shewing that wheras the petitioner haveing been these one and tuentie moneths in prisone to the utter loss of himself and numerous familey not being able to subsist under the vast charge thereof and therfore humblie Craveing the said Lords to Commiserat his conditione and grant him such ane aliment as they should think fitt and as they have been gratiouslie pleased to doe to others as at lenth is contained in the said petitione The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill haveing considered the foresaid petitione given into them by the said Alexander Stueart They Hereby recomend to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties Thesaurie To Cause make payment to the petitioner of the sum of tuelve shilling scots per diem for his aliment dureing his continowing in prisone commenceing from the day and date hereof
