Act Appointing the revaluators of the Shire of Fyfe to meet againe and mean while the publict burdens be uplifted Conforme to the old valuatione

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered a Petition given in to them be the Lord Rankeillor Sir James Mcgill of Rankeillor Robert Douglas of Airdit The Laird of Montquhany and Patrick Bruce of Bumzeon Commissioners of Supply and revaluation for the Shire of Fife for them selves and in name of the most of the heritors of that Shire with a petition be the severall heritors Subscribers of the same within the said shire Compleaning upon the new revaluatione made of the said shyre with two severall adherences therto subscribed by a great many persones Togither with the answers made to the said petitione Complaining of the revaluatione Severall of his majesties privy Councillors Declared that the said Patrick Bruce of Bumzeon disouned the said first petitione wherin he is insert as a Compleaner, and desired that his name might be dilate and scored out of the same And the saids Lords haveing Considered both these petitiones with the answers forsaids made to the last of the two, They hereby appoint the Commissioners of Supply and revaluators of the said Shire of Fyfe to Conveen and meet againe at Kirkaldie upon the fiftein day of march nixt Ther to review the said valuatione and to take in and receive all such Complaints as shall be made and offered to them by any persones who alledge themselves Lesed by the said revaluation and to Consider, And in the mean time till the parties concerned be heard and the revaluatione be revised approven and perfected Ordains his majesties Supply and all other publict burdens and Impositiones whatsomever within the shire of Fyfe in use to be up lifted and Levied according to the old valuation in the moneth of may Jaj vic nyntie thrie To be payed exacted and Collected Conforme to the said old valuation of the said shire And nowayes according to the new revaluation2 of the said shyre.
