Act and Recomendation The Lord Kinards tenents of Inchmicheall anent accompts

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill haveing Considered a report of a Committie of their oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting by his majesties forces to the Councill Bearing that the said Comittie haveing Considered ane account given in to them as resting be his majesties forces to the tennents of Inchmicheall in the paroch of Erroll belonging to my Lord Kinaird with the instructions and verificationes therof They Find the haill articles of the said accompt suficiently verified and proven Be the oathes and depositiones of James Wallace George Blair James Huttone, John Foord and Patrick Hutton tennents to the said Lord Kinaird within the barronie of Inchmicheall taken before two of the Commissioners of Supply for the shyre of Pearth Conforme to the said Commissioners their report produced to and Considered be the Comittie bearing that the saids tenents being sworne in presence of the saids Commissioners deponed Ilk one of them that the said accompt was truely furnished to his majesties forces and no part of the samen payed, And Finds that ther are severall articles of the said accompt instructed not only be the tenents depositiones as a forsaid But also by recepts under the hand, of the souldiers to whom these articles were furnished and finds that Conforme to the said accompt and instructiones therof Ther is resting be his majesties forces underwritten upon scots pay to the tennents of Inchmicheall The soumes Following furnished frae the seventh day of september Jaj vjc Eighty nyne to the first of november Jaj vjc nyntie years Viz Imprimis by the Lord Beilhaven’s troop of horss ane hundreth and two punds five shilling four penies scots Item by the Lord Newbotles troop of horse Thriescore punds nyne shilling scots Item by the Lord Rollos troop of horss Threttie six punds five shilling Eight penies scots Item by the Earle of argyll his regiment of foott Twentie Eight punds sixtein shilling scots Item by the Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragoons six punds scots Item by the Lord Ross his troop of horss four punds scots Item by the Earle of Eglingtoune his troop of horss Thrie pund Eight penies Scots Item by the Laird of Pollocks troope of horss four pund two shilling ten penies scots Extending the saids haill soumes due by the forces forsaids upon scots pay to the saids tennents to the soume of Two hundreth fourty four punds nyntein shilling six penies scotts And the Committie Finds that the haill articles quherof this soume is made up are in the termes of the nynth act fourth sessione of this Current parliament and of the proclamation of Councill relative therto of the date the last day of Jully Jaj vjc nyntie four years And Therfore it is ther opinion that the said soume of Two hundreth fourtie four punds nyntein shilling six penies scots is to be payed to the saids tenents of Inchmicheall belonging to the Lord Kinaird out of the present polemoney and that the saids tenents are to be recommended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury accordingly as the said report bears The Lords of his majesties privy Councill Approves of the said report and Recomends to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury to Cause payment be made Out of the present polemoney to the saids tenents of Inchmicheall of the above soume of Two hundreth fourty four pund nyntein shilling six penies scots.
