Warrand to Lord Advocat and Sollicitor to give in bonds to the Clerks of Councill and to take new bonds of some persones etc
The Lord Advocat Haveing acquainted the Lords of his majesties privy Councill That He had taken baile from the persones following who have been in France since the Late act of parliament dischargeing any correspondence therewith viz Alexander Sandilands Charles Lermonth Philip Hamilton of Kilbrachmont Alexander Tatt Skipper Walter Nisbet Captaine James Adamsone and Charles Farquharsone2 and that the bonds were in his Lordships Hands and that Robert King hes procured Master John Buchan to give paroll for Him and since hes given bond to Sir James Oglivie his majesties Sollicitor The said Lords of privy Councill doe Hereby recomend to the said Lord Advocat to delyver in these bonds to their Clerks of privy Councill and ordaines them to take bond of the said Robert King and to take new bond of the other persons who have granted bonds alreadie with sufficient Cautione for each of the said persones and his Lordship haveing Lykewayes acquainted the said Lords That the Laird of Craigie Wallace and his Brother have found Cautione and that their bonds are lyeing in the Clerks of Councills hands They ordaine their said Clerks to take new bonds with sufficient Cautione for Craigie and his brother and appoynt the Haill bonds to be granted by the Haill persons abovenamed to be, That they shall Live peaceably under and with all submissione to the present Government of his majestie King William and Queen Mary And that they shall not act consult nor contryve any thing in prejudice thereof nor Converse or Correspond with any Rebells and that they shall appear before the said Lords of his majesties Privy Councill when called for under the severall penalties contained in their respective bonds alreadie granted by them and ordaines the macers of privy Councill to apprehend and secure the haill persons abovenamed untill they give bond and find caution in maner above appoynted And appoynts Sir James Oglivie to give in the bond which he hath taken from the said Robert King to the said Clarks of privie Councill
