Recomendatione anent accompts In favors of2 Mrs Anderson and Baillie Baird
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Comittie of ther oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the accompts given in to them as resting be James Hamilton Major to the Lord Bargenies regiment now Livetenant Coll to Hills regiment to Mrs Anna Baird relict to the deceast baillie Anderson of Innerkeithing and to Robert Baird baillie ther They Find it suficiently verified and proven be two severall bonds under the hands of the said Major Hamalton bearing annualrent and expenses and alse be report of the Commissioners of supply for the shyre of Fyfe Bearing that upon the Seventein day of November Jaj vjc and nyntie four The said Major Hamilton now Livt Coll to Coll Hills regiment did before them assert the debt in the saids two bonds to be yet due, and that it was Contracted for the use and subsistance of his Company That ther is resting to the saids two persones be the said Major now Livt Coll Hamiltone the soumes following Viz to the said Mistres Andersone The soume of Five hundreth and sixtein punds scots money principall and to the said Robert Baird The soume of five hundred and ten punds money forsaid Extending both to the soume of ane Thousand and twentie six punds money forsaid and it is the Comitties opinion that this Last soume ought to be payed to the saids persones out of the present polemoney In Respect the same Is for subsistance of Forces under the scots pay and is furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one But that ther is no annualrent or expences to be allowed for the saids Soumes And that the saids persones are to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of their majesties thesaury for payment of the principall soumes accordingly Conforme to ther respective proportiones above sett doune as the said report bears The saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve of the said report And Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appoynted anent the polemoney To Cause pay to the said Mistres Anderson the Soume of Fyve Hundreth and sixtein punds scots principall and to the said Baillie Baird the said soume of Fyve Hundreth and ten punds Money forsaid as resting be his majesties forces upon Scots pay to them and that out of the said Polmoney.
