Act Continueing Mistris Jean Wallace Sequestration

Sir James Steuart her Majesties Advocat haveing represented to the Board that the Lord Hallcraig in whose custody Mistris Jean Wallace daughter to Sir William Wallace of Craigie, was Sequestrat, Is now dead, And that the said Mistriss Jean is for present In the house of Mr John Scott Minister at Carluke; The Lords of her Majesties privie Councell Doe heirby continue the Said Mistris Jean her Sequestration, And appoynts her to remaine in the house of the said Mr John Scott till further orders of Councell.

Sir James Stewart, her majesty’s advocate, having represented to the board that [Sir James Hamilton] the Lord Halcraig, in whose custody Mistress Jean Wallace, daughter to Sir William Wallace of Craigie, was sequestrated, is now dead, and that the said Mistress Jean is for present in the house of Mr John Scott, minister at Carluke, the lords of her majesty’s privy council do hereby continue the said Mistress Jean her sequestration, and appoint her to remain in the house of the said Mr John Scott till further orders of council.
