Letter from the Queen for adjurneing the parliament

Letter from the Queens Majestie to the Councill for adjurneing the parliament to the Twentie fyfth day of July nixt to come, Being read, the Samen was ordered to be Recorded, And the proclamation in the terms therof being prepared, the Samen was read Signed, ordered to be recorded, printed and published. follows the tenor of the said letter.

Right trustie and right well beloved Cousine and councellor, Right trustie and intirely beloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trustie and well beloved Cousins and Counsellors, Right trustie and well beloved Councellors, and trustie and well beloved Councellors Wee Greet yow well, Wheras the present state of our affairs, does not requyre the meeting of our parliament so soon as the Twentieth day of June instant, to which day it is now adjurned, wee therfor doe heirby authorize and requyre yow, To issue furth a new proclamation in our name, ordering the continuance of the forsaid adjurnement of our parliament from the said Twentieth of this instant June, To the Twentie fyfth day of July nixt insueing, and ordering all the members therof to attend that day att Edinburgh in the usuall way, and upon the certifications accustomed; For doeing wherof this shall be your warrant; And so wee bid yow heartily farewell. Given att our Court at Windsor-Castell the eight day of June Jaj vijc and Six and of our reigne the fyfth year, By her Majesties Comand, Sic Subscribitur Loudoun.
