Letter from the Queen for adjurneing the parliament

Letter from the Queens Majestie to the Councell for adjurneing the parliament being read, the Same was appoynted to be recorded, and a proclamation to be extended in the termes therof.

Right trustie and right well beloved Cousine and Councellor, Right trustie and intirely beloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trustie and right well beloved Cousins and Councellors Right trustie and well beloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trustie and right well beloved Councellors, Right trustie and weell beloved Councellors, and trustie and well beloved Councellors Wee Greet yow well; Wheras the present posture of our affairs does not requyre the meeting of our parliament on the twenty Sixth day of this instant February, to which it was last adjurned, That the members be not putt to wnnecessary attendance, It is our will and pleasure, And wee heirby authorize and requyre yow to issue furth a proclamation in our name Adjurneing our Current parliament from the said tuentie Sixth of february instant To the nynth day of May next insueing, And ordering all the members to attend that day at the usuall place, and upon the accustomed certifications, For doeing wherof this shall be your warrant, So wee bid yow heartily fairwell; Given at our Court at St James’s the nynth day of february 1705/6. And of our reigne the 4th year By her Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur Loudoun.

Letter from the queen’s majesty to the council for adjourning the parliament being read, the same was appointed to be recorded, and a proclamation to be extended in the terms thereof.

Right trusty and right well beloved cousin and councillor, right trusty and entirely beloved cousins and councillors, right trusty and right well beloved cousins and councillors, right trusty and well beloved cousins and councillors, right trusty and right well beloved councillors, right trusty and well beloved councillors, and trusty and well beloved councillors, we greet you well. Whereas the present posture of our affairs does not require the meeting of our parliament on 26 February, to which it was last adjourned, that the members be not put to unnecessary attendance, it is our will and pleasure, and we hereby authorise and require you to issue forth a proclamation in our name adjourning our current parliament from the said 26 February instant to 9 May next ensuing, and ordering all the members to attend that day at the usual place, and upon the accustomed certifications. For doing whereof this shall be your warrant. So we bid yow heartily farewell. Given at our court at St James’s 9 February 1705/6, and of our reign the fourth year. By her majesty’s command Sic Subscribitur Loudoun.
