Warrand to the Governor of the Castell of Edinburgh to fyre the great Guns on the Queens birth day

The Lords of her Majesties privie Councell Doe heirby Recommend to the Earle of Levine, Governour and Constable of the Castell of Edinburgh, and to the deputy Governour ther, And in ther absence Gives order and warrand to the nixt Commanding officer to cause fyre the great Guns of the said Castell upon the Sixth day of February nixt to come, being the birth day of her Majestie Queen Anne, att the ordinary tyme, and conforme to the accustomed maner heirtofore observed in the lyke cases.

Warrant to the governor of the castle of Edinburgh to fire the great guns on the queen’s birthday

The lords of her majesty’s privy council do hereby recommend to [David Melville] the earl of Leven, governor and constable of the castle of Edinburgh, and to the deputy governor there, and in their absence give order and warrant to the next commanding officer, to cause fire the great guns of the said castle upon 6 February next to come, being the birthday of her majesty Queen Anne, at the ordinary time, and conform to the accustomed manner heretofore observed in the like cases.
