Repryve to Captain Greens Crew

His Grace her Majesties high Commissioner, And Lords of her Majesties Privie Councell having considered the petition given in to them by Henry Keigle and others of the deceast Captain Greens Crew aftermentioned, and the Samen being read in their presence, His Grace and the saids Lords Doe heirby Repryve Henry Keigle James Burne, George Kitchine and Andrew Rotsone Four of the deceast Captain Greens Crew from the Sentence of death appoynted to have been execute wpon them wpon the fyfth day of october nixt to come, from the said day, wntill the Second day of January nixt to come; And doe heirby Repryve George Glen, Samwell Wilcocks, Alexander Tayleor, and John Ballendine other four of the said Crew from the Sentence of death appoynted to have been execute against them upon the Twelfth day of october nixt, from the said day, untill the nynth day of the said moneth of January; And doe heirby Repryve John Bruckley another of the said Captain Greens Crew from the Sentence of death appoynted to have been execute against him upon the nynteenth day of the said moneth of october from the said day, untill the Sixteinth day of the said moneth of January; And appoynts the Magistrats of Edinburgh to see and cause be putt to punctuall execution the Sentence of death pronounced against them by the Judges of Admirality and Assessors Appoynted to them wpon the respective dayes abovementioned, att the same place and in the same maner appoynted by the said Sentence, Sic Subscribitur Argyll Commissioner. Reprieve to Captain Green’s crew

His grace [John Campbell, duke of Argyll] her majesty’s high commissioner and lords of her majesty’s privy council having considered the petition given in to them by Henry Keigle and others of the deceased Captain [Thomas] Green’s crew after mentioned, and the same being read in their presence, his grace and the said lords do hereby reprieve Henry Keigle, James Burne, George Kitchin, and Andrew Robertson, four of the deceased Captain Green’s crew, from the sentence of death appointed to have been executed upon them upon 5 October next to come, from the said day until 2 January next to come. And do hereby reprieve George Glen, Samuel Wilcocks, Alexander Taylor, and John Ballendine, another four of the said crew, from the sentence of death appointed to have been executed against them upon 12 October next, from the said day until 9 January. And do hereby reprieve John Bruckley, another of the said Captain Green’s crew, from the sentence of death appointed to have been executed against him upon 19 October from the said day until 16 January. And appoint the magistrates of Edinburgh to see and cause be put to punctual execution the sentence of death pronounced against them by the judges of admiralty and assessors appointed to them upon the respective days abovementioned, at the same place and in the same manner appointed by the said sentence.
