Warrand to the Governour of the Castell to fyre the Guns upon the Queens birth day

The Lords of her Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Recommend to the Earle of Levine Governor and Constable of the Castell of Edinburgh, and in his absence Gives order and warrand to the nixt Commanding officer ther, To cause fyre the Guns of the said Castell upon twesday nixt to the sixth instant, Being the birth day of her Majestie Queen Anne at the ordinary tyme of the Solemnitie, and in manner heirtofore observed in the lyke cases.

Warrant to the governor of the castle to fire the guns upon the queen’s birthday

The lords of her majesty’s privy council do hereby recommend to [David Leslie] earl of Leven, governor and constable of the castle of Edinburgh, and in his absence give order and warrant to the next commanding officer there, to cause fire the guns of the said castle upon Tuesday next, the sixth instant, being the birthday of her majesty Queen Anne, at the ordinary time of the solemnity, and in manner heretofore observed in the like cases.
