Letter from the Queen to the Councell for adjurneing the parliament to the twentie eight day of June instant being read, The Samen was ordered to be recorded, And a proclamation being prepared in the terms therof the Same was read, Signed, and ordered to be printed published and recorded.

Right trustie and right intirely beloved Cousine and Councellor, Right trustie and Right well beloved Cousine and Councellor, Right trustie and well beloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trustie, and well beloved Councellors, and trustie and well beloved Councellors Wee Greet yow well, Wheras the present state of our affairs, Does not yet allow the metting of our parliament So Soon as the fourteinth of this instant June to which it was lately adjurned; It is therfor our will and pleasure, and wee heirby authorize and requyre yow to issue furth a new proclamation in our name ordering a further continuation of the adjurnement of our parliament from the said fourtainth to the twentie eight of the instant June, Att which tyme wee are fully resolved our said parliament shall meet, And therfor Ordering all the members therof to attend that day att Edinburgh in the usuall way, And wpon the accustomed certifications, For doeing wherof this shall be yor warrant, And so wee bid yow heartily farwell; Given at our Court at St James’s the Second day of June 1705. And of our reigne the fourth year By her Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur David Nairne.
