Letter from the Queen to the Councell for adjurneing the parliament to the twentie eight day of June instant being read, The Samen was ordered to be recorded, And a proclamation being prepared in the terms therof the Same was read, Signed, and ordered to be printed published and recorded.

Right trustie and right intirely beloved Cousine and Councellor, Right trustie and Right well beloved Cousine and Councellor, Right trustie and well beloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trustie, and well beloved Councellors, and trustie and well beloved Councellors Wee Greet yow well, Wheras the present state of our affairs, Does not yet allow the metting of our parliament So Soon as the fourteinth of this instant June to which it was lately adjurned; It is therfor our will and pleasure, and wee heirby authorize and requyre yow to issue furth a new proclamation in our name ordering a further continuation of the adjurnement of our parliament from the said fourtainth to the twentie eight of the instant June, Att which tyme wee are fully resolved our said parliament shall meet, And therfor Ordering all the members therof to attend that day att Edinburgh in the usuall way, And wpon the accustomed certifications, For doeing wherof this shall be yor warrant, And so wee bid yow heartily farwell; Given at our Court at St James’s the Second day of June 1705. And of our reigne the fourth year By her Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur David Nairne.

Letter from the queen to the council for adjourning the parliament to 28 June instant being read, the same was ordered to be recorded, and a proclamation being prepared in the terms thereof, the same was read, signed, and ordered to be printed, published and recorded.

Right trusty and right entirely beloved cousin and councillor, right trusty and right well beloved cousin and councillor, right trusty and well beloved cousins and councillors, right trusty, and well beloved councillors, and trusty and well beloved councillors we greet you well. Whereas the present state of our affairs does not yet allow the meeting of our parliament so soon as 14 this instant June to which it was lately adjourned, it is therefor our will and pleasure, and we hereby authorise and require you to issue forth a new proclamation in our name ordering a further continuation of the adjournment of our parliament from the said 14 to 28 of the instant June, at which time we are fully resolved our said parliament shall meet. And therefor ordering all the members thereof to attend that day at Edinburgh in the usual way, and upon the accustomed certifications. For doing whereof this shall be your warrant. And so we bid you heartily farewell. Given at our court at St James’s 2 June 1705, and of our reign the fourth year. By her Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur David Nairne.
