Procedure

Earl of Cromartie and Lord Forbes qualified as Councellors

The Earle of Cromartie and Lord Forbes being present in Councell did qualifie themselves to her Majestie as privie Councellors by Swearing the oath of allegeance and Subscribeing the Same with the Assureance; And the Lord Chancellor did tender to ther Lordships the oath de fideli, and therafter ther lordships took ther place at the Board accordingly.

And [James Ogilvie, earl of Seafield] the lord chancellor did tender to their lordships the oath de fideli, and thereafter their lordships took their place at the board accordingly.
