Proclamation Adjourning the parliament

Anne by the Grace of God Queen of Great Brittain, France and Irland defender of the faith To our Lyon King at armes, and his bretheren heraulds, Meacers of our privie Councell, pursevants, messengers at armes our Shirreffs in that pairt Conjunctllie and Severallie speciallie constitut Greeting, Forasmuchas the present State of our affairs does not yet allow the meeting of our parliament of this our antient kingdome So soon as the fourteenth day of June instant, to which it stands adjurned, So that a further adjurnment for a Short tyme is necessary for our affairs, Wee are therfor resolved to continue the said adjournment of our said parliament from the said fourteenth day of June instant to the Twentie eight day of June instant, and are firmely resolved our said parliament shall meet on the said Twentie eight day of June instant, for the good ends for which wee have called it; Therfore and that the members of our said parliament be not putt to the trouble and charges of meeting upon the said 2 fourteenth day of June instant to the Twentie eight day of June also instant, Requyreing heirby all the members therof to attend the said day at Edinburgh in the usuall way and wnder the accustomed certifications by Law appoynted, Our Will is Heirfor and wee charge yow strictly and Comand that in continent thir our Letters seen ye pass to the mercat cross of Edinburgh, and to the mercat crosses of the haill remanent head burghs of the severall shyres and Steuarties within this our antient kingdome, And thir in our name and authority, by open proclamation make publict Intimation that our said parliament is adjurned to the said Twentie eight day of June instant, And ordains these presents to be printed and published, Given under our Signet at Holyrudehouse the Sixth day of June, And of our reigne the fourth years 1705. Proclamation adjourning the parliament

Anne, by the grace of God queen of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, defender of the faith, to our lyon king at arms, and his brethren heralds, macers of our privy council, pursuivants, messengers at arms, our sheriffs in that part conjunctly and severally specially constituted, greeting. Forasmuch as the present state of our affairs does not yet allow the meeting of our parliament of this our ancient kingdom so soon as 14 June instant, to which it stands adjourned, so that a further adjournment for a short time is necessary for our affairs, we are therefor resolved to continue the said adjournment of our said parliament from the said 14 June instant to 28 June instant, and are firmly resolved our said parliament shall meet on the said 28 June instant for the good ends for which we have called it. Therefore and that the members of our said parliament be not put to the trouble and charges of meeting upon the said 14 June instant to 28 June also instant, requiring hereby all the members thereof to attend the said day at Edinburgh in the usual way and under the accustomed certifications by law appointed. Our will is therefore and we charge you strictly and command that immediately these our letters [are] seen you pass to the mercat cross of Edinburgh, and to the mercat crosses of the whole remanent head burghs of the several shires and stewartries within this our ancient kingdom, and there in our name and authority by open proclamation make public intimation that our said parliament is adjourned to the said 28 June instant. And ordain these present to be printed and published. Given under our signet at Holyroodhouse 6 June, and of our reign the fourth years 1705.
