Warrand for fuall to Fort William etc

The Lords of her Majesties privie Councell having by former ordinance of Councill Appoynted Major Generall Maitland To continue the possession of fewall and other conveniencies for the Garison of Fort William as formerly, And to mantaine and defend himselfe therin, Doe heirby Appoynt and Ordaine the said Major Generall not only to continue the possession of fewall as formerly at Fort William But also to mantaine and defend himselfe in the possession of fewall and other conveniencies for his Garison and pairtie at Invergorie, And in all other out posts as formerly; And appoynts and ordains the said Major Generall to acquaint Glengarie that his loss and damnage for the Samen, Shall be considered, and he Satisfied therfor.

Warrant for fuel to Fort William etc

The lords of her majesty’s privy council having by former ordinance of council appointed Major General [James] Maitland to continue the possession of fuel and other conveniences for the garrison of Fort William as formerly, and to maintain and defend himself therein, do hereby appoint and ordain the said major general not only to continue the possession of fuel as formerly at Fort William, but also to maintain and defend himself in the possession of fuel and other conveniences for his garrison and party at Invergarry, and in all other outposts as formerly. And appoints and ordains the said major general to acquaint [Alexander MacDonald of] Glengarry that his loss and damage for the same shall be considered, and he satisfied therefor.
