Act Infavours off Captain Robert Hamiltoun

Annent The petition given in and presented to the Lords off Her Majesties privie Councill By Captaine Robert Hamiltoun in Earle of Orkney’s Regiment off Foot Shewing That wher Robert Hamiltoun sone to the Deceast John Hamiltoun in Inchgorthick Haveing been imprisoned by warrand From their Lordships And he being content to goe aboard to serve in the Earle off Orkneys redgement and in the petitioners Companie as appears by his Declaratione herewith produced And Therfor Creaving to the effect after mentioned As the said petitione bears The Lords off Her Majesties privie Councill Haveing Considered the above petitione given into them by Captain Robert Hamiltoun in the Earle of Orkneys Regiment off Foot And the samen with ane Consent duely subscrived by a Magistrat under the hand of Robert Hamiltoune in Inch Gorthick Being read in ther presence The saids Lords Doe heirby Give order and warrant to the Magistrats of Edinburgh and keepers off their Tolbuith to set the persone off the said Robert Hamiltoune at Liberty Furth therof To goe aboard and serve in the Earle off Orkneys Regiment and in the petitioners Companie upon payment allwayes off the house dews to the keeper off the Tolbuith of Edinburgh wher he is a prisoner.
