[Proclamation for adjourning parliament]

Proclamation for Adjourning the Parliament Read and Signed by a quorum of Councill and ordered to be printed published and Recorded wherof the tenor followes.
Anne By the Grace of God Queen of Great Brittain France and Ireland defender of the faith, To our Lyon King at armes his bretheren heraulds, Macers of our privy Councill, pursevants, messingers at armes, Our Shiriffs in that part Conjunctlie and severallie speciallie Constitute Greetting Forasmuchas the Circumstances of our affairs doe Require a furder delay of the meetting of our parliament of this our ancient Kingdome of Scotland, then the twelth day of October instant to which it stands by our authority adjourned Therfore Wee with the advice of the Lords of our privy Councill Have Adjourned and hereby Adjourn our said Current parliament from the said Twelth day of October instant to the Sixteinth day of December nixt to come, Requyreing hereby all the members therof to attend at Edinburgh the said day in the usuall maner and under the accustomed Certificationes by Law appointed Our Will is heirfore and wee charge yow straitly and Command that incontinent thir our Letters seen yee pass to the Marcat cross of Edinburgh and to the Marcat Crosses of the remanent head burghs of the severall Shyres and Stewartries within this our ancient kingdom And there in our name and authority make publict intimation that our said parliament is adjourned to the said sixteinth day of December nixt to come and Ordaines these presents to be printed and published.
