[Banishment of Samuel Mowat]

Her Majesties Advocat haveing Represented to the Councill that Mr Samuell Mowat ane Episcopall Minister prisoner in the Tolbooth of Edinburgh for a great many Irregularities Consents to be banished rather then to abyde a tryall The Lords of her Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Appoint and Ordaine The said Mr Samuell Mowat to Enact himself in the books of privy Councill That he shall depart furth of this kingdome betwixt the date hereof and the […] day of […] nixt to come and not to returne therto without Leave from her Majestie or the privy Councill under all highest pain; And in the mean time appoints him to be sett at Libertie he enacting himself as above.
