Proclamation for Adjourning the Parliament

Proclamation for adjourning the parliament in the termes of her majesties Letter being Read; The samen was Signed and ordained to be published printed and Recorded wherof the tenor followes.
Anne By the Grace of God Queen of great Brittain France and Ireland defender of the faith To our Lyon King at armes, his bretheren heraulds macers of our privy Councill; pursevants, messingers at armes our Shirreffs in that pairt Conjunctllie and Severally Specially Constitut Greetting Forasmuchas the Circumstance of our affairs Doe Requyre a further delay of the meetting of our Parliament of this our ancient Kingdome of Scotland than to the sixteinth of this instant Moneth of December to which it was Last adjourned and that the members may not be put to unnecessary trouble and attendance at that day, Therfore Wee with advice of the Lords of our privy Councill Have adjourned and hereby Adjourn our said Current parliament from the said sixteinth day of December instant to the Twentie Second day of February nixt to come; Requyring hereby all the members therof to attend at Edinburgh the said day in the usuall maner and under the accustomed Certificationes by Law appointed. Our Will is Herefore and wee Charge yow Strictly and Command That incontinent thir our Letters seen ye pass to the marcat Cross of Edinburgh and to the Marcat Crosses of the remanent head burghes of the Severall Shyres and Stewartries within this our ancient kingdom2 and therat in our name and authoritie make publict intimatione That our said Parliament is adjourned to the said Twentie Second day of February nixt to come and Ordaines these presents to be printed and published.
