Liberation Seatoun of Touch

Anent the petition given in to the Lords of his Majesties privie Councill by James Seatoun of Touch Sheuing That wher the supplicant being brought in prisoner and Incarcerat within the tolbooth of Edinburgh in November last And having upon application to their Lordships procured Liberation furth of the tolbooth But the petitioner was Confyned within the City of Edinburgh and suburbs upon Finding Caution not to remove untill furder order And the petitioner being very valitudinary And having alwayes Carryed himself most submissively and peacably And being resolved not to Give disturbance to the Government nor any Concerned therein And therfore humbly Craving to the effect underwryten as the said petition Bears The saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councill having Considered the petition given in to them by the said James Seatoun of Touch They doe heirby take off the petitioners Confynment And Declares him to be quytt thereof and free therfrome In all tyme coming In Respect the petitioner hath Given bond and found sufficient Caution acted in the books of privie Councill That he shall Live peacably under and with all Submission to the present government of his Majestie King William And that he shall not Act Consult nor Contryve any thing in prejudice therof nor shall not Converss or Correspond with any rebells And that he shall appear before the saids Lords of his Majesties privy Councill whensoever he shall be Called for or required to that effect under the penaltie of Ten Thousand merks Scotts money In caise he shall transgress in Any part of the premisses.
