Captaine Douglass one of the Captains of Colonell Douglass his regiment and paymaster to the regiment being Called and examined Anent the sending of precepts for payment of the said Regiment to Stirling The Councill being unsatisfied with his ansuers sent him prisoner to the tolbooth of Edinburgh to remaine till farder order.
