Act Changing the Arch Bishop of Glasgoues Confynment

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Considering that by ther act of the date the Fifteenth day of Aprale last Having Confyned John Late Archbishop of Glasgow to the mansion House or manner place of Airth and three miles about the same They Have Changed and heirby Changes the said Late Archbishop his Confynment from the said Mansion house or manner place of Airth and three Miles about the same To the Mansione house or manner place of Gogar near to Airth uithin the Shire of Clackmannan and three miles about the same And alloues him to repaire to and remaine at the said mansion house or manner place of Gogar forsaid and three Miles about the same He first Giving bond and finding sufficient Cautione acted in the books of his Majesies privie Counsell That he shall repaire to and remaine at the said Mansion House or manner place of Gogar forsaid and three Miles about the same And that he shall keep the bounds of his said Confynment and not transgress or Goe uithout the same And that he shall Live peacably under and uith all submission to the present Government of his Majestie King William And that he shall not Act Consult or Contryve any thing in prejudice therof nor shall not Converss or Correspond uith any rebells And that he shall appear before the saids Lords of his Majesties privy Councill whensoever he shall be Called for or required to that effect under the penaltie of Ane Thousand pounds sterling In case he shall transgress in any part of the premisses And upon Granting of this Bond Ordaines the former Bond granted by the said Late Archbishop and his Cautioner to be given up to him.
