Anent the petition given in to the Lords of his Majesties privie Councill By Mr Thomas Gordon Late Regent in Glasgow Sheuing That wheras the petitioner is Cited to Compear before the saids Lords for renuing his Bale as the charge of horning given on Satturday the thretteenth of February to Alexander Innes merchant in Edinburgh his Cautioner more fullie bears And seing that the petitioner is so Greivously afflicted uith hazard of his Life As the Certificat upon soull and Conscience from tuo phisicians in Aberdeen given in uith the said petition evidently Sheues And Considering that the petitioner hitherto hath and is still resolved to Live and behave himself most peacably and quietly And therefore Humblie Craving to the effect underwryten as the said petition bears The saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Having Considered this petition given in to them By the said Mr Thomas Gordon with the testificat mentioned therin and produced therwith They heirby excuse the petitioners Compearance before them And declares him free of the charge of horning given to him for that effect In respect the petitioner before extracting heirof Hath Given bond and found Sufficient Cautione acted in the books of his Majesties privie Councill That he shall Live peacably under and with all submission to the present Government of his Majestie King William And that he shall not Act Consult nor Contryve any thing in prejudice therof nor shall not Converse or Correspond with any rebells And that he shall appear before the saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councill whensoever he shall be Called for or required to that effect under the penalty of Tuo Thousand merks Scotts In case he shall transgress in any part of the premisses And appointes the bond of Cautionry to be subsryved before the Earle of Kintore or Sir Thomas Burnet of Leyes as one of the uitnesses therto And alloues the petitioners former bond to be Given up.
