Commission by the Council

Commission for additionall Commissioners of the midle district of the highlands

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill upon a Letter direct to the Lord high Chancelor from the Commissioners of Justiciary of the midle district of the highlands of Scotland that the particular persons afternamed might be added to their Number Have added and heirby adds to the Commissioners already named by his Majesties Commission for the said midle district under the Great seall of this Kingdome the persons follouing Viz Mr James Carnegie of Phinhaven James Spitle of Leuchat Archibald Naiper of Balqwhaple Hendry Lindsay of Cairnies Mr William Gray of Inverreightie younger Shirreff Deput of Forfar and Mr John Ogilvie Baillie of the regality of Couper With full pouer authority and Commission to the saids Commissioners heirby added to meet sitt vote Act and doe with the Commissioners For the said district already named by his Majesties Commission under the Great Seall as fullie and freely in all respects as if they had been named in his Majesties originall Commission under the Great Seall from the beginning.
