Att Edinburgh the Tuentie fifth day of February Jaj vic nyntie seven

Decreet

Decreit Lord Advocat Against Buchannans and others in Stirling Shire

Anent the Lybell or Letters of Complaint raised and pursued Before the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill att the Instance of Sir James Steuart his Majesties Advocat Mentioning Forasmuchas the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill of the day and date heirof have ordained Letters to be direct at the Instance of the said Sir James Steuart for his majesties Interest In the matter underwryten Against the person afternamed from whom the now viscount of Teviott then Sir Thomas Livingstoun did take bond for their appearance in Aprile Jaj vic nyntie one years Viz John Buchanan of Arnpryor Dugall Buchanan of Gairtencablet Walter and James Grhames of Gaitur Andrew McFarlane of Gartartoune Thomas Grhame of Douchrie John Buchanan of Auchinmar Robert Grhame of Glennie Hary Grhame in Buquhaple John Grhame of Killearne and Eduard Buchannan of Spitle for Citing of the forsaids persons to appear before the saids Lords of privy Councill In manner and to the effect underwryten as the said Act of the date forsaid at more Length bears And anent the Charge given to the saids defenders to Have Compeared personallie this day before the saids Lords of privie Councill To Ansuer to the Grounds of the aboveuryten Complaint And to have heard and seen such order and Course taken theruith as appertaines under the paine of rebellion And putting them to the horne with Certification as the said Lybell with the executiones therof In themselves more fullie Bears which Lybell being upon the tuenty fifth day of July Instant Called In presence of the saids Lords of his Majesties privy Councill They heirby appoint the haill persones named uith the said Lybell to renue their bales as formerly to Live peacably and appear when called for And that betuixt and the fourth day of March nixt to Come under the penalties Contained in their former bonds except Robert Grhame of Glennie when they appoint yet to be Cited upon sixtie dayes In respect he is presently in Ireland.
