Recommendation to The Earle of Lauderdale to shutt up the meeting house at Muntainhall

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Having Considered the Interloquitor of the date the seventh day of May Last bypast wherby they ordaine and appoint the place att Muntainhall wher vagrant and uncertain persons Come and presume to preach and exercise other parts of the Ministeriall function to be Shutt up And Have appointed the shirreff principall or his deputs and other Magistrats of the place to shutt up the same as they will be ansuerable And being Informed that the forsaid Interloqutor is not as yet obeyed They Hereby Recommend to John Earle of Lauderdale Lord of the regality of Musleburgh uithin which the said place Lyes to take care that the said Interloquitor be obeyed and the forsaid place at Muntainhall which lyes uithin the said regality be Shutt up as above appointed.
