Prorogation of Leivt Coll Erskine’s forloff

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Considering that by their Lordships act of the date the thretteenth day of october Jaj vic nyntie six years They have allowed Leivt Colonell John Areskine Governour of Stirling to Leave his post at Stirling Castle and to depart furth of this Kingdome about his necessar affairs He alwayes returning betuixt and the first day of March The saids Lords Doe heirby prorogat the tyme of the said Leivtennant Colonell Areskine his returne to the first day of June nixt to Come For which this shall be a sufficient warrand.
