Recomendation to The Secretaries Anent Hay and Arthbuthnot

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Recommend to the Earle of Tullibardin and Sir James Ogilvie Lords Secretaries of State for this Kingdome to wryte to the Lords Justices or Lords secretaries for the Kingdome of England that they take bale of George Hay and Robert Arthbuthnot who uere taken in a ship Coming from France and are presently prisoners in his Majesties ship Called the Terrible that they shall appear before the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill of Scotland or the Lord High Chancelor or any other of the officers of state for this Kingdome And that they shall Ansuer to any Court ther before whom they shall be Called and obey the sentence which shall be pronounced against them And after taking this bale that they sett the saids persons to Libertie That they may repaire to Scotland and be Judged And if found guiltie that they may be punished in this kingdome wherof they are natives.
