Procedure

Anent priviledges of Scotland to the treaty of peace

The Lord High Chancelor produced a Letter from the Earle of Tullibardine principall secretary of state direct to his Lordship Desyring his Lordship would be pleased to signifie to the Councill that the Lord secretary has acquainted his Majestie with the priviledges are desyred for Scotland at the treaty Anent peace And that the King has ordered his Lordship to delyver them to the Earle of Pembrock one of his plenipotentaries And that his Majesties said that he would Recommend them particularly The Letter being read was taken back by the Lord Chancelor and is dated from Kensingtoune the 4 March 1696/7.
