Warrant

Warrand to Leivtennant Colonell Bruce and Woodsyde to require and receathe the armes of 4 troops of the Lord Forbesses dragoons

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councell being Informed That ane hundred and fiftie or therabouts of the dragoons belonging formerly to the regiment under the Command of the Lord Forbess Have marched from Invernes uithout Laying doun their armes Conforme to the former orders of Councell direct thither for disbanding the said regiment And that the saids hundred and fiftie dragoons or therabout doe yet keep togither in a body and may be this night or tomorrow at St Johnstoun And have declared they are willing to Lay doun their armes to any having the Councells orders for requiring them to doe the same Therfor the saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councell Doe heirby Give order and warrand to and Require and Command Leivtennant Colonell James Bruce and Hendry Rollo of Woodsyde Joyntly or severallie to Goe to morrow morning early touards pearth and foruards untill they meet the saids dragoons and require them to march allong uith them to the burgh of Innerkeithing And ther to require and Command all and every one of the saids dragoons to Lay doune and delyver in their armes uithin the tolbooth of the said burgh of Innerkeithing to the Magistrats of the said burgh whom The saids Lords heirby appoint to receave the same And to Cause provyde a sufficient boat or bark and to Cause Carry the saids armes aboard therof to be transported to the Castle of Blacknes under the direction and oversight of the said Hendry Rollo who is to receave and Keep them in the said Castle untill they be Called for And appointes the Magistrats of the said burgh of Innerkeithing to take recept of the said Hendry Rollo of what armes they receave from the saids dragoons and putt aboard the said boat or Bark And transmitt the same to the Lords of his Majesties Thesaury.
