Warrand to the Earle of Argyll to delyver to Sir William Douglas 20 men of Levy 1695
The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Recommend to and Decernes the Earle of Argyll to delyver to Sir William Douglas Colonell of one of his Magesties regiments of Foot the Number of tuenty men who are deficient in the shire of Argyll of the Levy appointed by the Act of parliament Jaj vic nyntie five which was uplifted in the year Jaj vic nyntie six And that within ten weeks nixt after the Last recruites going from Scotland to Flanders in this present year Jaj vic nyntie seven are shipped and sailed In order to their transportation And Recommends to the said Earle to give in Lists to the said Sir William Douglas of the Leaders of such of the said tuenty men as are not to be putt out by his Lordship and that with his Lordships first Conveniency and Lykewise a List of the Leaders for the six men deficient by the said shire for the Levy Imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie three.
