Warrand to Lord Carmichaell to disband a Detachment of The Lord Lindsays regiment at Drumfreis
The Lords of his Majesties privie Councell Doe heirby Recommend to the Lord Carmichaell Commander In cheiff of his Majesties forces within this Kingdom for the tyme To Give orders to the officers who Command that Detachment of the Lord Lindsays regiment presently Lying att Drumfreis To disband the said detachment att Drumfreis wher they nou lye And Recommends to the said Lord Carmichaell to Give orders to Captaine […] Veatch That he see the armes of the souldiers of the said Detachment when they are disbanded Lodged in the hands of The Magistrats of Drumfreis and take their recept therof And appointes the saids Magistrats to secure and detaine the saids armes safely untill they shall be Called for by the Government And Recalls the order given yeasterday for bringing this detatchment to Edinburgh to be disbanded.
